<p style="text-align: left;">“I love that it’s perfectly imperfect because it’s hand-painted,” says Shea. “You can see the brush strokes and the little pillowed edge. It has so much character, and it’s not generic at all—it brings a home to life.”</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">This focus is central to Studio McGee’s modern traditional design style. The choice of terra cotta as the base material was intentional. Designer Taryn Johnson adds, “Terracotta was selected for its natural warmth and texture. It enhances the artisanal, hand-hewn intent of the collection while still feeling elevated.”</p>
